Jonti Pizarro, of Irvington, was charged on Sept. 12 with attempted sexual assault, enticing a minor, child endangerment and attempted criminal sexual contact, according to Eveham police.

Pizarro was being held in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly pending a first appearance in Superior Court.

The investigation began several months ago after Pizarro allegedly contacted a detective in an online chat room, police said.

During text exchanges, Pizarro reportedly "described, in detail, the sexual acts he wanted to perform on the juvenile female," police said. Pizarro made arrangements to meet with the girl at a prearranged location in Evesham Township, police said.

Once he arrived, Pizarro was arrested without incident, they said.

The investigation, which is continuing, is being conducted by the Evesham Police Investigative Bureau, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Homeland Security Investigations Unit.
